Summary: It's about time we got ourselves a nice traditional sea serpent. The only issue is that it kind of took a nosedive with the effects. But hey, that won't stop us from having fun, right?

History: Somewhere at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean, a small sea serpent from a lost age got smacked with tons of radioactive waste, along with the local fish population. While the fish died and became dangerous sea food, the serpent grew drastically in size. Pretty soon, the Spanish coastline became a hunting ground for the new super-predator.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After a literal fiery confrontation, the sea serpent is driven away from civilization. However, one person speculates that the beast is heading to Libya, where it'll just have to be fought again.

Powers/Abilities: None

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-Sadly, the sheer stiffness of the prop is what hampers this otherwise manic-looking beast from truly bringing fright. One scene in particular has him do literally nothing in place as a lantern gets thrown his direction. Still, he is rather fluid underwater.

Trivia: -This film was also known as "Hyrda: Monster of the Deep".

-Myths of sea serpents were some of the earliest stories of ocean-borne monsters around. They were also the first way most stories, particularly the Bible, described dragons.
